Bleach Swamp Spritz Review

I’ve been wanting a salt spray for ages because I’m always envious of those girls who have beachy waves and look all perfect but in a way that makes them look like they made no effort at all. I am not one of those girls it turns out and when I first used the Bleach London Swamp Spritz on my damp hair, it turned into a dry, crispy, crazy mess and I was like shit I’ve just spent £6 on this monster. I had to wash my hair like immediately after because it felt so toss. The next time I tried it again was on straightened and dried hair that was in the need of a wash and was just hanging there limply on my head. It really made a difference then and my hair was transformed from greasy limpness to a voluminous, textured greaseball (yes, it still needed washing). For £6 this is a bargain product and is currently part of a 3 for 2 offer at Boots.

One thing I will grumble about is the spray function, it goes bloody everywhere. I must have used about 4 sprays on my head and it ended up on my arms, the floor and the walls with only about 2 sprays worth on my head. Like any salt spray, this is also quite drying and so I wouldn’t use it every day or if I did, then I’d make sure I did a deep condition once a week to ensure that the salt wasn’t causing any permanent damage to my hair. For my first encounter with a salt spray, apart from the actual ocean, I’m highly impressed.

Have you ever used a salt spray, what did you think?

Til' next time! XOXO
