I really like tag posts and reading them as I feel you get to know the person behind the blog that you're reading it on and find out some more information about them. Fleur, over at FleurDanielle recently did this post and so I decided I was going to give it ago to hopefully shed some light for my readers over my mysteriously exotic and exciting lifestyle, lol I wish!

What Are You Wearing?
Currently, I'm at work while writing this, shh don't tell my boss. I'm wearing a lovely black blouse from Dorothy Perkins and an Aztec style midi skirt also from Dorothy Perkins which I have stolen from my mother and have no plans to give back. Soz mum. I'm wearing this with knee high boots, but they're also my mums and I have no clue where she got them from. Mum, if you read this I would like to apologise for forever stealing your things, but I assure you that I will continue doing so for as long as I live with you.

Ever Been In Love?
Currently, I am! Aw, aren't I cute! I'm in love with my rabbit Bernard... I'm kidding. It appears that the love of my life is a beardy plumber who is a bit too obsessed with cars. Got a right catch there ladies.

Ever Had A Terrible Breakup?
Not really. Sam is the first guy I've ever properly been in a relationship with and so I haven't yet gone through a breakup.

How Tall Are You?
I think that I'm about 5 foot 9/10, I dunno? How do people know how tall they are? Do they measure? I only know that I'm around that from the last time my doctor did my BMI and told me I need to get on that treadmill pronto.

Any Tattoos?
Yes, one. It's a half faded pentacle on my foot that I got when I was in Ayia Napa. I got it to ward off evil spirits and demons!! No, kidding. I got it because my nan is big into that stuff and it reminds me of her. It's half faded because it, unfortunately, lands in a spot where the lining of shoes goes through and so half of it is has faded a rather lot! I don't know whether to get it coloured in and just wear flip-flops for like 3 months or what.

Any Piercings?
Yes, I love piercings! I think I'm more open to getting piercings than tattoos because they're less permanent, although I have now had my belly bar out for 1 whole year and the fucker hasn't healed up! So I have my ears pierced twice, my tongue pierced (lol, kinda hate this one now), my belly button unfortunately and my nipple!

Penelope Garcia and Derek Morgan... JUST MAKE BABIES ALREADY!

Favourite Show?
Grey's Anatomy, Parks and Recreation, Criminal Minds, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones are just some of the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I don't have one favourite show, but if there was a show I could watch over and over again without getting bored it would be Friends.

Favourite Bands?
I'll be honest, I don't really have a favourite band. I only really listen to playlists that Spotify make or the radio, but there isn't really someone who I listen to all the time. If I had to say bands that I liked at the moment or could listen to an album without getting bored it would be Fall Out Boy, Eliza and the Bear, One Direction (not even scared bro), but I also really love that new song 7 years by Lukas Graham.

Something You Miss?
My dog. She passed away in August and I miss her every day. I have two other massive beasts to keep me company and soothe my doggy grief but she was my baby and I honest have never felt grief for a lost pet like I do for my Bella.

How Old Are You?
20! I'll be 21 this year which is a big birthday! I don't want to be 20, or 21 for that matter they feel far too grown up for someone who is not ready to be grown up. Also, I know your 21st is supposed to be big and stuff, but I just can't be bothered to plan a big event for it! What did you all do for your 21st, if you are 21?

Zodiac Sign?
Libra, the scales. This must be the most boring star sign you can be. What also makes it boring is that my mum, my dad, my brother and I all share the same star sign! We're all Libras!

Quality You Look For In A Partner?
That they can make me laugh, loving, loyal, ambitious & kind.

Favourite Quote?
I love Harry Potter and Disney, so my two favourite quotes have to come from them.

Favourite Actor?
My favourite actor of all time is Heath Ledger & it's such a shame that he was gone so soon. Everything he created was amazing and Brokeback Mountain is easily one of my favourite films, it is so powerful. My favourite actress has to be Jennifer Aniston, she's hilarious and such a good actress.

Favourite Colour?
I don't think I have a favourite colour. I love red & blue as I wear a lot of it because it's one of the colours I can wear without it clashing with my red hair. I also love yellow because I think of it as such a happy colour and I can't go into the nursery in my house (which is yellow) without feeling uplifted.

How Long Does It Take You To Shower?
Totally depends, I usually shower within 10 minutes or so but I can be in a bath for up to an hour, got to get your use out of those bath bombs right?

How Long Does It Take You To Get Ready In The Morning?
About 20 minutes. I have my routine down and I can be up and out of the house within half an hour, with time for breakfast.

Ever Been In A Physical Fight?
As most redheads are, I'm feisty. I have been in one or two physical fights yes, one actually quite recently embarrassingly enough. I won't get into it, but I won obviously. Don't fight kids, stay in school.

Turn Off?
Smoking, ignorance, arrogance and lying.

The Reason I Made A Blog?
I've always been into writing and what's easier than writing about what you love? Actually, sometimes it can be hard but I have loved it ever since I've set up a blog and although I definitely have room for improvement, I love my little blog on the internet and I'm forever glad that I set it up!

Spiders. I have a serious phobia of spiders and I literally cannot be in the same room as one if I have seen it or if it's disappeared then I am not going into that room for a good hour. I have cried because I've seen a spider and I have a large distrust of people who threaten to throw a spider on you when they catch it. I also don't really like the sea, it scares me how undiscovered it is and how you can be just floating there not knowing if something near you is out to kill you.

Last Thing That Made You Cry?
Grey's Anatomy. I'm telling you, don't start watching this programme, it will rip out your heart, stamp on it repeatedly and then put it back in all to do the same thing again in a couple more episodes. I have openly sobbed at this and every OTP I have ever had has been crushed into a tiny million pieces. Don't put yourself through it.

Last Time You Said You Loved Someone?
Ok so I told my boyfriend that I loved him when I sent him off to work with his packed lunch this morning, but I also told my dogs I loved them before I left for work so...

Meaning Behind Your Blogger Name?
I'll be honest and say it kind of just came to me and I was all like woah I like that it kind of describes me, I like pretty things but I'm also slightly mad and I think I appear slightly mad to some people.

The Book You Are Currently Reading?
Currently trying to read The Clockwork Orange and majorly confused by it. Am I meant to understand a word of what is wrote in that book? I've also just finished Only Ever Yours by Louise O'Neill and would definitely recommend it!

Last Show You Watched?
Duh, Greys Anatomy... Luckily I've not cried yet in season 10 but I'm sure I will at some point. I know a major character dies soon and I'm just bracing myself for it so I can hole up in my room and cry about fictional characters.

Last Person, You Talked To?
The guy who I sit next to at work, he's very annoying.

The Relationship Between You and The Person You Last Texted?
Can you believe it is like 5 pm and I haven't texted anyone all day? Well, don't I feel loved! The last person I text was one of my best friends Nicole and we were gawking over Michael Socha in the new ad on E4. So obsessed with him *insert heart eye emoji*

Favourite Food?
Mac and Cheese or anything with cheese on which is quite difficult when you are dairy-free. I mad dairy-free mac and cheese the other day and I feel head over heels in love. I will most definitely be making it at least once a week, if not more.

Place You Want To Visit?
I desperately want to visit more places in Europe. My best friend and I are planning on going to Amsterdam later in the year and then I would love to go to Krakow & Paris. I really want to go visit Disneyland Paris and on a darker note, the Paris catacombs.

Last Place You Were?
I'm at work, SHHHH, but the last place I was before this was home. Home sweet home with my doggies and bunny. Does any of you miss your pets while you're at work? Sometimes I'm sat doing nothing and then I realise I'm thinking about which room my rabbit is destroying while I'm typing away.

Last Time You Kissed Someone?
Again, the boyf this morning but I also kissed my dogs before I left for work! This is my life... boyfriend & dogs.

Last Time You Were Insulted?
Someone told me I'm maturing far too quickly which I took as quite offensive. So what if I'd rather strut my stuff in cocktail bars than go to sweaty clubs with underage people wrestling at bars to get a watered down vodka.

Favourite Flavor Of Sweet?
Does peanut butter cups count as a flavour? Because that's my fave.

What Instruments Do You Play?
When I was younger I used to play the Cello. It's a dream of mine to learn to play the piano.

Favourite Piece Of Jewelry?
I have a necklace that Sam bought me for valentines last year and I never take it off.

Last Time You Hung Out With Anyone?
Sams best friend just bought his first house with his girlfriend so we went round there to help them strip wallpaper and eat chocolate. It was nice but definitely made me want to have my own house!

Who Should Answer These Questions Next?
Whoever wants to! It was actually quite fun doing this although I never realised how hard it is to think of your favourite something on the spot. What do you mean who is my favourite actor? I dunno have I even watched a film in my whole life?

First Impressions: Lush Seanik Shampoo Bar

"This solid seaweed, sea salt and lemon bar gives great shine and volume, with an uplifting summer scent for that buoyant feeling. We’ve added a combination of Irish moss gel (made from bushy red seaweed), with protein-rich Japanese nori seaweed and fine sea salt to give hair some oomph. Lemon oil makes your hair shine, and we’ve added the heady tropical scents of mimosa, jasmine and orange flower essential oils."

I love Lush shampoo bars and I think that they're a great product that is good for your hair and actually quite cost effective in the long term. I have had 3 different types of shampoo bars now and the last one disappointed me. Not because I didn't like it, I just found that it didn't last long at all (it was the Montalbano one). Maybe this was because I didn't have the tin to keep it in, but it just crumbled apart and became very hard to use within a couple of weeks. I'm hoping this one will last longer as I do think they are really worth the money.

The Seanik shampoo bar (£5.95) is made up with sea salt to help exfoliate the scalp and lemon oil which will refresh and invigorate. Meaning that this is a very fresh (almost sealike wink wink) shampoo bar and that feeling transfers onto your hair to make it feel very clean and refreshed. It describes itself as having a "summer scent" but I find it quite mild, pleasant and very fresh. I have found lately that using this gives me clean and shiny hair, but also that I can leave it longer in between washes than I would usually get with my bog standard shampoo. That's great for the lazy girls like me out there who cannot be bothered to wash their hair every other day.

I would highly recommend checking this out if you have never tried Lush shampoo bars before. This one seems ideal for a range of hair types with essential oils to combat dryness but with sea salt and lemon to make it clean and shiny. Out of the three I've tried, this one seems to suit my hair to most and I'd say my favourite so far!

Manicure Monday: Embracing Spring

Normally, when it comes to my nails I stick to basic colours and it's either dark or nude. Usually, it's not anything in between but sometimes I get the urge to make my nails girly and fun, then I usually do it, hate it and change it within the day. This happened with these nails. I thought they were cute and fun and I managed to last 1 day with them until I took them all off and painted them red. So basic.

I think I was trying to embrace the nicer weather starting to appear and a celebration of not having to de-ice my car this morning. I used Models Own Cornflower Gleam for the blue and it's a gorgeous powder blue that is perfect for spring. It's opaque in 2 coats and has quite a long-lasting time. Although it's one of those that if you chip it you can easily peel off the rest of it. It's part of the Models Own Hypergel range and supposed to last longer than normal nail varnish. I don't know if I can vouch for that, especially as I took this off within the day, but I've used others in this range and they are actually really good and have a very good lasting power.

The yellow that I used on my ring finger is Daisy Days by Rimmel and it's part of the Rita Ora range. I love the Rita Ora range and Rimmel nail varnishes in general, they're cheap and amazingly pigmented. This again is opaque in two coats and will last generally 2-3 days.

Both of these colours are ideal for spring and will be beautiful on their own either way. I usually don't do my nails in the style of four nails one colour and another a different colour. I think that it's a cute look though and quite playful. I would really recommend these nail varnishes, they're both really good quality and super affordable. Find the Models Own Hypergel polish for £4.99 here and Rimmel 60 Seconds Supershine Rita Ora Collection here for £2.99.

February Disney Wishlist

I don't think there is ever a month where I don't see something Disney and immediately want it. This is always amplified when I have no money and, therefore, MUST HAVE IT! I stayed away from mugs this month after buying two new Disney mugs after my London trip. This month my obsession seems to be socks, but how adorable are those mismatched Alice In Wonderland ones! They also have Mike and Sully ones which are equally adorable. At £2.95, they are actually quite reasonable and if I see them the next time I nip into my local Disney, they are mine!

I also love getting Disney figurines and collectables and if it was up to me, the house would be covered in them. I seem to be having a moment with Peter Pan and I love this figurine! They always have amazing ones and I'd get them all if I was made of cash. What would you get from this wishlist?

Herbal Essences Dry Shampoo First Impressions

I am usually a Batiste girl through and through when it comes to dry shampoo and I'm firmly on the side of it's not broke don't fix it. However, I saw Herbal Essences all on offer the other day at Asda and it was something like 3 for £4 so I bought shampoo and conditioner, cos basic and I thought I'd try their dry shampoo. I opted for the "Escape to Paradise" in the hope that I'd spray my hair and be instantly transported to an exotic island being fanned by sexy oiled me while sipping on a pina colada. That didn't happen, but it is quite good.

One thing I don't like about Batiste, or just dry shampoos, in general, is that I hate the white residue they leave they leave behind. If I'm putting in dry shampoo it's because I'm in a rush and trying to make myself look like I have my shit together. This one is quite good at not leaving that white stuff but leaves a film and does make your hair kind of feel like you've sprayed it with extra strong hold hairspray then brushed it out.

The smell of this is also really nice, something that I always actually look for in a dry shampoo. I don't want to be spraying dry shampoo on my hair and then smell like I'm putting dry rubbish on me. It smells nice and fruity and this smell makes your hair smell like you've actually washed it, so you can get away with it for a couple of days or more. I find with this one, because it has more of a fine spray than the Batiste cans, you actually use less.

It isn't the cheapest at £2.99 for 180ml compared to £2.99 for 200ml of the Batiste type but the difference isn't that big at all. I can't say that I would declare this my favourite dry shampoo, but it is really good plain and simple. Find it at Boots or Asda. Have you ever used this dry shampoo before?

Disney Princess Adult Colouring Book

I love adult colouring books and they're such a good way to relieve stress when you just can't deal with the world. I especially know that when I'm getting frustrated and everything is winding me up, the best thing for me to do is something that will clear my head and adult colouring books are such a good escape. Mix that with Disney and I'm sold!

This Disney Princess book is in French which is weird but it isn't exactly the text that you're using this book for anyway, it's the amazing artwork inside. I love Disney & I think this is perfect for any Disney fan. I could definitely see this being a good stocking filler for someone's birthday, even if they don't speak French..

There's loads of Disney Princess's in this book, which is what it's focused on and it's so pretty. You could make them exactly as they are in the movies or get all funky and make them crazy colours, hell make Ariel blonde! One negative I'd say is the amount of Pochantas is super small compared to the amount of other princesses. Other than that it is such a nice book and I would really recommend it. Would you buy this book? You can find it on Amazon here & they also do a Frozen one.

Things That Have Pissed Me Off This Week

I try to come across as an upbeat, positive person on my blog. But, in the real world people often see me as hmm, how do they put it? Bitchy and moody. I mean, I can't even blame it on Aunt Flo most of the time because I use that excuse every week of the month and I think people are catching on. I have had a good week this week. Not in the sense that ooh I feel like a million dollars give me all your praise, but rather I had a takeaway on Wednesday and got a free portion of egg fried rice sort of week. Yet, there has been things this week that have really got to me, really rubbed me the wrong way and made me want to go ham on a punchbag. Which I haven't, cause I am a lazy toerag.

My brother
I know, brothers are just annoying in general. But my sneaky little arseface of a brother decided it was a good idea to remove my device from my Now TV account and add his phone onto it so he could watch my NOW TV account on his phone. I pay for NOW TV, let me just say and I told him he couldn't delete anything but he did it anyway! So, I got all excited with my reheated chow mein and my pj's on getting settled in to carry on watching my precious Greys Anatomy when BOOM no sorry Miss, you can't add another device until MARCH THE 1ST!

Does he not know that Walking Dead starts on Monday? Does he not know that I'm on season 8 of Greys Anatomy and my mum is on season 9 so I have to catch up? No, he doesn't because all he cares about are his problems and doesn't care that I can't watch my programmes. It's a serious issue guys. Luckily, Now Tv's customer service saw my tweets about murder and came to my rescue. So, hopefully, it'll be resolved. Otherwise there will be murder.

Shitty Internet
My boyfriends parents are currently away skiing their troubles away in Austria and he has to look after the house to make sure his 18-year-old brother doesn't smash the place up and so I've been stopping there all week. The trouble is, my boyfriend lives in the wilderness and his house is a signal hell zone and so I get no signal there meaning the only way I have any contact with the outside world is by connecting to his internet. The trouble is, it's shit. So it cuts out for like 10 minutes at a time and I'm left with no Greys Anatomy and no blogging! This has resulted in all my blog posts being a day late and my lovely self left very frustrated.

It's so annoying when you're in the blogging flow and you have so much to write, but it's interrupted by the laws of the universe working against you. Stupid universe.

Sometimes, when I'm in a rush or I can't be arsed to make dinner for work, I'll go out and buy a meal deal from Sainsburys or Boots, as they are the closest mealy dealy places near my place of work. The problem I have, though, is that I'm dairy-free and trying to eat well e.g. low calories. So, a problem I have is that I go for a typical sandwich or a pasta salad and they all have some form of dairy in them. Literally, if you're dairy free your choices are so restricted, it's ridiculous.

Ooh ham salad sandwich, you look good! Oh wait, you have yoghurt on you. First off, who puts yoghurt on a ham salad sandwich? What's wrong with a bit of mayo? Oooh chicken and bacon pasta salad, that sounds great! Creme Fraiche mayo, what's that? Oh, it's mayo with added DAIRY!! Please, how can it be so hard to just use normal ingredients that normal people consume. I am so sick of peanut butter and rice cakes or soup for dinner I just wanted a normal sarnie but I'm not allowed because supermarkets are out to ruin me.

Valentines day
My boyfriend and I had a sort of silent agreement about valentines day and it's that we weren't doing anything for it and weren't buying each other presents. One because everywhere on Valentines day is hella expensive and over the top and two because I'm a poor poor apprentice who can't afford to be buying daft presents every week. I mean it was just Christmas a month ago. But then he went to Meadowhall with his friend who has a new girlfriend and so wanted advice on what to get her and he comes back like "DON'T LOOK" and then he has shopping bags. I was like what, but I haven't bought you anything. I thought we weren't buying presents. He was like it's fine. It's not fine though is it Samuel because now I feel like the shit girlfriend who has a lovely boyfriend who buys her stuff and all I've bought him is a 99p valentines day card that says "I otterly adore you" with a picture of an otter next to it. It's fucking adorable, but still. Fuck Valentines day.

I'd like to apologise in advance for this post. Actually, it's not very advance when I'm posting this at the end of the ranting, but I'd still like to apologise. You know what, though, it feels great to get all of this off my chest and I actually feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Usually, I'd rant to my mum or my girls over a few cocktails about issues like this but I'm skint and I haven't seen my mum for a week and so you guys are my next outlet, you're my little internet friends. So, if you have something you need to rant about I'd highly recommend writing it out into a post because my god, this was therapeutic. Thank you for reading my rant and I hope you have a very lovely Valentine's day, whether you do something fancy, order or take away or spend all day in your pj's. Have fun!

How's Life Dairy-Free?

So, I have officially been dairy-free for over a month now and so I wanted to update you guys on how I'm feeling. The last post I wrote on this was after I'd been dairy-free for just a week and I was really enjoying it. To be honest, I'm still really enjoying it. I'm definitely not finding it as hard as I thought I would and I haven't really had to make any real changes to my life. Yeah, I now buy soya and almond milk instead of cow milk and cheese isn't on the shopping list, but it has been surprisingly easy to cut little things like that out of my life.

You do have to get a bit more inventive in the kitchen. I can't just grab a pot noodle for my lunch anymore, but I'm fine with that. I feel so much healthier in myself and my body is energised, my skin is frickin' amazing and I feel great. I'm drinking more water and green tea, more greens and healthy carbs. There is literally no downside to this at the moment except the other day I spent like a tenner on non-dairy milk so I could test them all out and decide which one will be in my tea. Soya was the winner if you'd like to know.

If there were 10 things I could've told myself when going dairy-free, it would've been this:

1. You'll have to check the labels on everything, luckily all the allergens are labelled in bold and so you get pretty swift at realising what has dairy in and what doesn't.

2. No, hemp milk is not weed milk. No matter how hard your brother giggled when you bought some.

3. Dairy-free cheese will not work in a toasty, sorry. But they're pretty alright otherwise.

4. People will not understand why you have gone dairy-free and that's ok, you don't have to explain yourself to anybody, girl.

5. Desserts can get pretty boring when you go out unless you're a big fan of sorbet.

6. Eating out is actually pretty easy and most restaurants will easily cater to you.

7. Nearly all crisps are dairy-free, so your weekend snacks are not off limit.

8. Research recipes, you'll get pretty bored of pasta or rice cakes for your lunch at work.

9. Dairy-free butter isn't that bad and you can't tell the difference when it's on a sandwich.

10. Pesto has cheese in it, so your cheap lunch of pesto and pasta is out of the window.

It's honestly been the best life decision I've made in awhile and I'm surprised how supportive everyone has actually been. Seeing how much I like it has actually swayed my mum into trying it for a week, except she says she needs to find a good milk alternative for her tea. First-world problems, am I right?

I now can't wait to get some nutritional yeast flakes to make dairy-free mac and cheese. It can be a pain when I go round to me nans for a cuppa, though, her response is always the same. What do you mean you don't drink milk? How do you have tea? Other than that, it's great! Morrisons have also just increased their range of dairy-free yoghurts and cheeses which is so cool and means I get to try a wider range. They are super expensive though (I'm looking at you £4.41 Mint Choc Chip Almond Dream Ice-cream), but the actual lifestyle itself isn't. Do you think you could ever go dairy-free?

P.S Again, apologies for the higgledy-piggeldy schedule! My internet is broken at the moment and keeps cutting off around 8 pm at night? What's that about. That's usually the time I get my posts written and scheduled, so it's been a nightmare. Normal schedules resuming next week, I promise.

Nivea Post Shave Balm: Face Primer?

I've seen a lot of hype around this product being used as a primer thanks to Nikki on YouTube posting a video about it. When I saw it on offer for £3 in Morrisons I knew I had to pick it up and try it. Now, I didn't really know which one to pick up as there are like 3 different types, but I figured if it's going on my face I best get sensitive. There are others, but I could imagine they have that alcohol burn that helps dry up post shaving cuts and stuff.

This one has 0% alcohol in it and I can safely say that it doesn't burn my face when I put it on. Apart from being mega cheap in comparison to other primers, there's also quite a bit in this bottle and a little goes a long way on your face. Yes, you will probably smell like a man if someone comes up close and sniffs your face, but the man smell seems to fade after a while and I definitely couldn't smell it at all once I had my makeup on. It does also dry fairly quickly, which is a bonus.

Now, as well as using this as a primer, I also tried using it as a post-shave balm, which is what it's actually intended for and I can actually say it does that job pretty good. In terms of a primer, I would say this is definitely worth a try. I've tried it both on a normal day at work and on a night out and it's served me well. It made my makeup last and apply really smoothly. I found that it also controlled oil pretty well as I don't like to wear powder in winter and I didn't appear too shiny. Except when I went out partying and getting my sweat on.

I've actually been favouring this over my bog standard primer as it's so simple to slap on your face in a morning and be able to put your makeup on within the next two minutes. I sometimes find with regular primers I have to wait five or so minutes before putting makeup on as they need to sink in. This one eliminates that problem and makes my morning routine that bit quicker.

I am super glad that I tried this out as a primer and while it's on offer, I might go pick some more up (get them Morrisons match and more points while I'm at it) so I have it in. I don't know how long a bottle like this will last but you honestly don't need a lot when using it and so I can see it lasting quite a while. Especially if you're just using it on your face and not slathering it on your body after you've hacked away at your hair with a razor.

I don't have the most sensitive skin, but it can get irritated especially around my eyes but I just don't get any irritation at all. This is designed for sensitive skin and men use it on their face and so it is safe for the face. I didn't get any irritation around my eyes at all, which I definitely think is a plus. Overall, for £3 and £2.50 in Tesco, this is definitely something you should run out and try. It's usually £5, which I still think is a bargain for what it does. Have you ever heard of this being used as a primer? Or have you actually tried it for yourself?

P.S Sorry this wasn't posted on my usual Monday, my boyfriends internet cut out and he lives out in the wilderness so I couldn't even use my phone's data. Normal schedule is resumed!

The Melt Crowd: Valentine's Edition

The best boxes with The Melt Crowd are usually the ones where they have a theme. Their Christmas boxes were great and so I had high hopes for this Valentines box and I think my high expectations might be why I am quite disappointed with this box. For one, I didn't even get the card that tells you what you get in the box and there is no obvious theme to me anyway. There are a few valentines type melts in and then some randoms like they usually do.

In this box we have:

Rose: Obviously, roses are associated with Valentine's and this smells exactly like rose scents usually do. Now, I really don't like rose scents, I think they end up being too powdery and fake with this one being no exception.

Cherry Slush: Not really anything to do with Valentine's but it's a nice scent anyway, I like this one much more than the previous circus flavour they sent in one of these boxes, which was Doughnuts and pretty gross. This one is very sweet and fruity.

Espresso: I don't necessarily have strong feelings towards coffee scented things. I don't dislike them, but I definitely wouldn't pick one by choice. That being said, I do really enjoy their mocha one as it has vanilla and chocolate in it too making it sweet, whereas this one is just plain old coffee. Good if you want to make your home smell like Starbucks.

Pink Lemonade: I really feel like I've had this melt before, but I might be wrong. This one is sweet and quite citrusy. I never got pink lemonade, is is just lemonade with food colouring? Pointless, but a nice scent.

Acai Berry: This one is very strong when you stick it under your nose. It's not strong in a good way either it's that type of strong that makes you choke and wheeze. I don't like it really and I can't really describe the scent. It's berry-like in a sense but also floral like.

Kir Royale Cocktail: The Flamingo Candle website describes this as a typical "creme de cassis" scent and me, being the clueless boob I am, have no idea what that means. Google tells me that it's a liquer made with blackcurrants, so I guess it smells like that.

Bamboo & White Grapefruit: I really love grapefruit scents, but bamboo seems like a weird addition to this. It really takes away from the grapefruit scent and adds a sort of grassy scent to it. I think this might be nice when burning, though, nice and fresh.

Love Bug Hearts: These are a cute idea and are described as strawberry sherbert scents. They do have a slight strawberry scent but also again, floral. Everything is so floral, but I don't know if that's the scent rubbed off from the others or what. They also have the espresso rubbed off on them aswell. That's the only thing with these boxes, you have to rip the paper off to get a proper smell of the scents as the stronger ones rub off one the lighter ones.

Overall, I am quite disappointed with this box. There are quite a lot of scents I don't rate and definitely don't have one that I'm super excited about like I usually do. However, it doesn't change my mind about The Melt Crowd box as a whole and I'm definitely going to keep subscribing to it. For only £10 I do think it's a good deal. I also end up giving some to my brothers girlfriend and take it to Sams. Which do you think you'd like the most?

Let's get Nakd...

My one vice when it comes to dieting or my "lifestyle change" rather, is snacking and choosing the wrong snack. Or if I decide to have a slightly healthier alternative I just eat a lot of it. Ooh, grapes they must be healthy, let's eat a full punnet of them. Popcorn? Sure that's healthy, let's eat a sharing bag to ourselves...

Nakd, the natural, dairy-free, gluten-free magical unicorn of a brand has been my saviour. I really struggle between breakfast and lunch and my production levels just hit the floor with an almighty crash. Rather than having a biscuit or a sugary cereal bar with my 5th cup of coffee, I've been opting for these bars and they really do keep me full. Because they are made up with simple ingredients such as dates, cashews and raisins, I know exactly what I'm putting in my body. They're also not as quick to eat as a generic cereal bar. You know the type I mean, 2 bites and it's gone. These are nice and dense so I can nibble on it while I'm pretending to work while really I'm reading the gossip column on The Daily Mail.

What I really like about these bars is the range of flavours they have, This box I bought was £14.99 and in it there are 18 bars, which is more than enough to get a taste for all the different flavours. In this box, you get 2 lots of cashew cookie, cocoa orange, ginger bread, pecan pie, cocoa mint, cocoa mocha and berry delight. You also get 1 bar of the Bakewell tart and rhubarb and custard. The also send you lots of free goodies along with your order which I think is great. I got a bag of the fruit & nut nibbles in mint humbug (amazing!) and fruit salad. Also, a bag of flavoured raisins which I think will be interesting.

My favourite of these bars is hands down the cherry bakewell. It tastes exactly like the real thing, except with all the crap in it. I'm not a giant fan of rhubarb and custard, it tastes really weird like it's meant to be a boiled sweet but it's in a squidgy bar and doesn't feel right. Gingerbread is also really nice, it's like you're eating a denser version of parkin and has just the right amount of spices in it to really get that gingerbread through. I can't wait to try to pecan pie and cocoa mint as anything with mint in has my seal of approval.

These bars are quite high in sugar because they're mainly made of dates, which are naturally high in sugar. I don't feel guilty for eating one, though, definitely not as guilty as I'd feel if I'd eat a chocolate bar in the afternoon.

For £14.99 this box was a bargain and I can't wait to try all the different flavours. They also do a box for £7.99 which gives you a chance to try all the different flavours, but without the commitment of two lots of the bars. You can find them all at the Natural Balance Food website where they have a whole selection of boxes and also offer free shipping on all orders. Have you ever tried Nakd bars?

Small London Lush & Disney Haul

I had such a lovely time in London but I think the amount of pain I was in due to the most uncomfortable boots that I was wearing kind of put a damper on my shopping mood and so the only places I really bought anything from were Lush, the Disney shop, and M&M World. I did also see some amazing stuff in Forever 21 but I'm never sure of sizing in shops like that and I just didn't have time for trying stuff on. I might order it online, though, so I can ensure that I'm able to send anything back that doesn't fit.

I was super excited about the Oxford Street Lush after hearing so many people rave about it. I was lucky that the day we went in that they'd just put all the Mothers Day stuff out. I only bought a few things because I have so much left over from Christmas but I couldn't go into Lush on Oxford Street and not buy anything could I? Could I?!

This is one of the Mother's Day products and is super cute. I really like the smell of this one, it's made with peppermint oil and geranium oil making a very fresh and floral scent that I can't wait to use. I love peppermint scents and I can imagine this being very invigorating. to use. Although I kind of don't want to use it as it's so pretty.

I've been wanting to try this for ages and finally decided to pick it up. Again, this one has peppermint oil so it smells amazing. It also has grapefruit oil, vetivert oil, and cedarwood oil. The Lush lady who served me said that I should only use this if I want to be very awake as it's very refreshing.

I also bought these two Bath Oils which I think are so great for the price, they're both £2. Unfortunately, these aren't available on the Lush website but the Oxford Street had loads of these available, I nearly bought about 10.

John Appleseed Bath Melt £2
As the "Appleseed" bit says, this is an apple scent based melt and has a stick of cinnamon in it to add a little bit of spice. The cinnamon isn't too prominent, though, as I hate cinnamon but it adds a nice bit of spiciness to the apple scent. This melt is made up of shea butter, cocoa butter and olive oil and so will be very moisturizing when used. These don't generally make the bath amazingly pretty or anything, but they make your skin feel amazing after.

Double Vitality Bath Melt £2
This one is adorable in the shape of a fluorescent pink star. This again is made up of the same oils, so makes it as moisturizing. This one contains peppermint oil, lemon oil, and jojoba oil so it's very zesty smelling. I can't wait to use this one.

I love the Disney store on Oxford Street, and it always has so much more than my local Disney store. I managed to pick up two new mugs which are literally all I seem to buy from Disney, but I'm obsessed. If you spent over £10 the Tsum Tsum mugs were only £4.99 and I could've bought them all but I restrained and only picked up the Marie Tsum Tsum mug as well as the Peter Pan Sketch mug for £8.95, which was on my wishlist last week.

I literally could've bought all the mugs, but I'm pretty proud of myself for only picking up 2. Which I also regret because I want them all. This is everything I picked up from London, really. I'm pretty disappointed that I didn't pick more up but I had such a nice time anyway and that's all that matters.
