Gemporia Wishlist

Gemporia is an affordable online jewellery store that sells a huge range of items for all budgets and styles. As you can probably tell from my wishlist, I'm definitely a silver/white gold girl. Gold and rose gold just doesn't suit me, I think it might be that I'm a redhead because I find silver compliments me a lot more.

My favourite stone that they have on their website is the "mercury mystic" and the "blue topaz" and I love the opal effect. I chose quite a few rings because I just don't wear rings and I think I definitely need to. The mercury mystic rings are gorgeous and they start off really affordable, in fact, I think all the jewellery is very affordable to say that the quality looks really good and they tell you on the pages all about the stone and the carat of the jewellery.

I also really love the selection of earrings they have, those drop down ones are so nice and really on trend. I've been after some of those style earrings for a while but I didn't want to get cheap ones that will turn my ears green because we all know that's the worst look ever. I really like how they have classic pieces and then really modern pieces like the Spinel necklace, which I'm gutted is out of stock! I really recommend checking them out, especially if you're like me and like quite simple but beautiful jewellery.

Which piece is your favourite?

What's On My Face This Month

I usually mix up my makeup routine quite often but lately, I have stuck to a certain routine and I am happy with it. It's great for daily makeup but allows me a bit of leeway for going out and getting fancy. I haven't put any of my skincare routine on because I might do a separate post on that. So settle in ladies, this is gonna be a long one! Also, apologies about how messy my makeup is, I am the laziest beauty blogger that there ever will be.

I've been using the Nivea Post Shave Balm (£3.52 here at the mo) as my primer. I usually put this on, go and wash my hands and put my contacts in. This allows it to sink in and get all smooth. I usually put a lot of this on my face as it works best with loads and it's so refreshing to do first thing.

Rimmel Lasting Finish in Light Porcelain and Ivory (£7.99) is my go to foundation at the moment. I've not been having any problems with it and I love it for a medium to high coverage depending on whether I'm going out or what. I go through so much foundation that I'd rather go drugstore with it. I use both shades as Porcelain makes me look like a ghost and Ivory is too dark, so I mix them together. I usually blob it onto my face and then use the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge (£5.99) the blend it all in.

I've been loving the LA Girl Concealer in Porcelain (£2.99 here) for under my eyes, but I don't use this one on my blemishes because it can appear quite light. I love this and it doesn't crease at all. I then set my under eye concealer with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder (£3.99) which will forever be a favourite. I again use the Real Technique Sponge to set this. I have two, one that I dampen for my foundation and a dry one for my powder. I usually "bake" this for around 10 minutes while I do my eyes and then sweep off the excess with a big fluffy concealer brush. In winter, I don't really use powder all over my face because I'm not oily and it can make me look cakey, so I've only been using this for under my eyes but normally I would then use the powder to set all of my foundation. I really want to get a loose powder for setting under my eyes, so if you have any suggestions I would love to know!

Sleek Contour Kit in Light (£6.49) is my holy grail budget contour kit. I adore it and it's perfect for me. I do a light contour every day because I haven't really been wearing blush because I've lost my blush brush and I'm too lazy to buy a new one. I use this to brighten up my face and contour my cheeks. I've also been using the highlighted bit of it daily, to combat the lack of blush. This is a very intense highlight and you do have to use it sparingly or you will look like a disco ball all day.

To start my eye look I use the Urban Decay Primer Potion (£16) to prime my eyes and this is my all time favourite. I was using the Freedom Makeup one for everyday use but then I just had to go back to my all time fave. I've then been using my Urban Decay Gwen Stefani palette (£40) for my eyeshadow like every single day, I love it. The two shades I've been using the most are Zone for the crease and Bathwater for the lid. It's a really bright but simple everyday look that I can pull off for work or going out.

I then use the Collection Fast Stroke Liquid Liner (£2.99) which again, is an all time fave. If it ain't broke, don't fix it right? I really like this one although I do find the actual applicator a bit funny sometimes as it makes it very easy to make mistakes with your eyeliner. I get very frustrated when the line isn't smooth and looks wiggly. That being said, this shit will last all day and is so pigmented, it will also probably last you years I swear it's bottomless. I then finish the look with the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (£17) which is perfect for making lashes longer and fuller and doesn't go all smudgy on the bottom lid. I do find that this can be a bit flakey, but it is still my favourite mascara of the moment.

I've been using the Rimmel Brow This Way (£3.99) for my eyebrows, using some random 99p brush I got from eBay. I get my eyebrows dyed and waxed every four weeks so I just need a little something-something to make them pop. I use this to fill them in and shape them and it works perfectly. I was using the Rimmel Brow This Way Gel and then using the brush to work it around a bit but I got bored with it and went back to powder. I like to mix it up with my eyebrows but I do think that powder, in general, is my favourite. Although I'm dying to try the ABH Dip Brow (but who isn't right?)

To finish off I usually mix it up with my lips. Because my eye look is so neutral I tend to get away with a variety of lip colours. Lately, I've been loving using the Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lip Liner in Spice (£2.99) paired with either Maybelline Colour Drama Lipstick in Nude Perfection (£4.99) or Urban Decay Matte Revolution Lipstick in 1993 (£15.50). I've also really been loving Rimmel London Kate Lipstick in 08 (£5.49) which is such a perfect my lips but better shade and so flattering. I'm all about the nudes lately for my daily face.

That is what has been on my face for the past couple of months. If I'm going on a night out I'll pair it with my Urban Decay Setting Spray (£22) and some Red Cherry Lashes but for my daily face, this is all that goes on there. It does look like a lot now that I've written it down but I can be up and out of my house in an hour, with time for breakfast so I have my routine down. Whew, now I'm going to go and give my fingers a break! Do you use any of these products and have you got any recommendations for me?

Things That Have Pissed Me Off This Week #2

I'm an angry person and I find that instead of going ape in real life, writing down my frustrations and thoughts can really prevent me from murdering someone in day to day life. So, these are the things that have really annoyed me this week and what I have to rant about before I punch a wall or you know, throw a mug.

Just Fab
Now we all know about Just Fab, the shoe/bag company that is £35 a month and lots of people call it a scam. They advertise EVERYWHERE and make it seem so appealing. Now, I didn't sign up to Just Fab but my mum did and she paid for it for a couple of months. Everything seemed great, she was getting really nice shoes and sometimes let me pick a pair. Now, not only are the heels sized really small, which is my first complaint but the shoes are shit. Shit, there I said it. Wankedy wank bank. My mum picked a pair of great "rocker" boots and I picked a flat pair of calf length boots that were black and perfect for every day. I'd say that we've worn both pairs around 10 times each and the soles came off! Sturdy thick soles came away from the boots, two different pairs!

Now, I understand that we've worn the boots quite a lot and I expected wear but not for them to fall apart so quickly. These boots are £35 a pair which isn't bloody cheap and I'd definitely expect them to last longer than 3 months! I've had shoes and boots from Primark for like a tenner that have lasted longer than this. I just couldn't believe it. Also, the heels are fucking uncomfortable. Like, I'm a size 6 and the size 6 will pinch my toes, not fit and be all around uncomfortable. My advice would be, steer clear. I know people steer clear because of the whole hard to block thing, but my advice would be to not even be tempted. It's a waste of money and the quality is absolute pants.

Fish in the office
Now, this is something that I think should be an unwritten rule. If you work in an office environment that has one kitchen with one microwave, don't have fish for your lunch! I don't care if your microwave fish pie from Sainsbury's was on offer for a £1, I can smell fish for the rest of the day and want to strangle you.

Exercising
This is something that has pissed me off, but kind of made me pissed off at myself. I am not fit, I haven't been properly exercising for a while but I really want to get back into and I'm trying. I went for a 4-mile walk the other day and take my dogs out every day, but then when I try and do something harder like Kayla Itsines BBG, I find it so hard and it doesn't motivate me! I am pissed off that I'm not able to do it the whole way through and pissed off that I can't motivate myself to just keep going.

Last night I did only one lot of 7 minutes and then decided, fuck it I'll just put on some music and dance around my room like an idiot. That's cardio, right? I know it's my own fault for letting my fitness level get so low and it'll take time to build it back up again but it still pisses me off that I can't just get straight back into being a macho woman.

Those are the things that have pissed me off this week! Thanks one again for being my outlet for every emotion I have and thank you for your lovely comments on my post on Monday. What has pissed you off this week?

Candle Belle #MEGAMELTBOX

It is no secret on my blog that I am obsessed with all things candle or wax melt related. I saw this new brand come around on a few blog posts and like the crazy candle lady that I am, I had to sign up. I was getting a bit bored with The Melt Crowd and so I wanted to mix things up a bit.

The first thing I'd like to say about Candle Belle is how pretty their packaging is. I'm a sucker for packaging and I adore this style. I love how they put the effort in with each one and make it a different colour. They also put sweets in the packaging but I ate those so I couldn't get a picture, sorry not sorry.

The Candle Belle melts are made from soy wax and they are huge. They can easily be cut up into 2 pieces for big melts and 4 for smaller ones, but they will easily last for many uses. They are also really soft and as I was cutting one up I got it all over my hands. I don't know if that was because it's soy or if it was warm, but it was very annoying.

One thing that I really like about Candle Belle is that they include a scent sheet and describe the scents. Sometimes you smell a wax melt, called like "snowflake" and you wonder what the hell it's meant to be. So, with these wax melts, you can break them down with their individual scents.

Almond Bakewell - Butter shortcrust pastry and amaretto liquor topped with almonds with a vanilla sponge. I am not a fan of almond scents and amaretto and you can really get the amaretto in this one. It's quite sickly sweet and I couldn't imagine using a big chunk of this so it would definitely last a while.

Granny Smith Apple - Apples and sweets are what this is described as on their website. It has a really authentic apple smell to it which I really love. This will be a great kitchen scent.

Black Cherry Bomb - A super strong, realistic explosion of black cherries. They say on their website that this is not one for "the faint hearted" and they're right. It is super strong and it literally hits you in the face with the scent. This is the only one I've burned so far and I literally took the littlest bit off and it scented my boyfriends whole room.

Bubblicious - Sugary vanilla with strawberry, citrus, coconut and clove. I don't know if that's what it's meant to smell like but it smells exact like the bubblegum that I would've had as a kid. This is my favourite!

Clove Rock - Super strong clove with hints of ginger and cinnamon. I hate it. Hate it, hate it, hate it. I hate clove. I hate ginger. I hate cinnamon. Hate it.

Coconut & Banana - Fresh banana, coconut and grapefruit, supported by kiwi fruit, strawberries and bubblegum with a hint of vanilla. I really like this one but if you don't like that synthetic banana smell then you won't like it. I think it's a really interesting mix with all the different fruits and definitely smells tropical. I don't know when I'll use this one but I definitely enjoy it.

Blue Hydrangea - Sunkissed hydrangeas and balmy breezes are sure to bring a big of summer inside every day. I don't really like fake floral scents but this one is actually quite realistic. It's really fresh and not at all sickly. I like hydrangeas and I think they've got the scent of this down.

Parfum De Paris - Ylang ylang, rose petals and jasmine are set against vetiver and sandalwood to perfectly capture 90 years of classic Paris. If someone said to me, classic perfume then I would definitely think of this scent. It's powdery and a bit like old lady perfume, but it's nice. I can't honestly see myself using this, but my mum really liked it.

Sweet Georgia Peach - Fruity peach with undertones of sweet orange, honeydew melon, vanilla and dusk. This is definitely peachy and I've never smelt a wax melt like this before. I like how fruity it is and doesn't smell synthetic. I can imagine it getting quite sickly if you use a lot of it, but that seems to be the general thing with these melts.

I am super impressed with the Candle Belle wax melts. They are very strong scented, soy wax and have a real smell to them so aren't fake smelling and gross. I like that they're all in their own packaging too so the scents don't rub onto each other and you can really get a good smell of them when you open the packaging. I am just highly impressed.

For only £11 a month, this is a great deal as you get 9 melts which work out as around £1.22 a melt and they're usually £2 a melt on Candle Belle's website. They gurantee that you won't get a repeat in fragrance for the first 3 months and they have 55 melts to offer, which is huge. Shipping is also included in the £11 and you can find it on the Candle Belle website. Which would be your favourite scent?

I Never Thought I'd Say This...

My life is shit at the moment. Not in the sense that I'm about to become bankrupt, homeless and possibly murdered but the type of mentally shit that makes me want to curl up in a ball and never leave, only occasionally for food and the next book to read. There is a lot going on in my life that I can't control and I physically can't bring myself to do a lot of things even when I know I need to.

I've never really had mental health issues in life. My mum suffers terribly with anxiety and depression, but I'm always seen as the "tough cookie", the one in the family who is brave and deals with all the crap like nothing touches my icy heart. But, I've come to the point now when it really is affecting me and I think I've let things stab my icy heart and it feels like it takes all the pain and hurt and fucked up things and just encased them in the ice so they can't get out. All the pain and anger and sadness is in my heart and it can't fucking get out no matter how much I want to cry and how much I try, it just won't.

Now, it feels pretty helpless not knowing what you want or what you feel. Why can't I bring myself to do any work? Is it because I'm lazy and worthless, or is it because my mental health is literally swimming down the drain. I sit at my computer sometimes and think, I want to go home and cry. Then I finish work and sit on my bed and think, I just want to go back to work and forget everything. Those instances where my mind isn't letting me cry and my mind isn't letting me work is just piling the shit on top of the pile of already overflowing shit and I'm at breaking point.

When you're mental health is fucked you start to question a lot in life. Why am I with this person? Would it be better if I were alone? Maybe I should run away, nobody would miss me, right? So what if my friends are going out, I'm better off alone. I'm in that deep, dark pit of despair where all I want to be is alone. Alone with my thoughts and feelings and I honestly think that would help me. Would it help me to be alone? I don't think so, probably not but it's what I want.

I don't want my family, I don't want my boyfriend, I don't want my friends. I just want myself and my blog. My blog is all I enjoy. I don't laugh at my boyfriends jokes, I don't smile when my friend sends me a funny text even if I text back "lol". It's like I'm looking at my life from afar and an alien has taken over my body. Why isn't she laughing at that, he's hilarious? She put lol, but she isn't smiling. Her mum made her a nice tea and she didn't even say thank you, how rude. Her dad comes and asks her to go watch tv with them and she brushes him off, can't she see he's trying to help? She's starting talking to another bloke, why is she doing that when she has a boyfriend who loves her?

I'm watching my life slip by and there's nothing I can do to slow it down. I want to shake myself, but I can't because it's like there's a war going on in my head. If I push people away maybe they'll leave me alone, maybe I'll be happy then. Then I want to shake myself and say no, people aren't happy alone they're lonely! It's so hard and I'm drowning.

I never thought I'd be someone who suffers from their mental health, hell I even questioned my mum when she would say she can't talk to anyone about it but now I know how she feels. I can't tell people I don't want them around, that would hurt them, they wouldn't understand. I've accepted in my head that I probably have something wrong with me, but something is stopping me doing anything about it.

I'm sorry for this, I never thought this type of post would go on my blog. But, writing is so therapeutic. It's letting me pour everything out while not sobbing into my quilt. It's letting me ramble and actually put into words what I'm feeling, that is a hell of a lot more articulate than it would've been if spoken to a real life being. This is my piece of the internet where I can ramble and scream and I'm going to take advantage of it.

The Melt Crowd Unboxing: March 2016

While I was quite disappointed with the box for February, I was definitely not disappointed with the box for March. March has a lot in it this month with Mother's Day and Easter and so I was hoping that there would a lot about that. I wasn't wrong.

There were a lot of "Spring" themed scents and also loads that were just The Melt Crowd exclusives which made me giddy, like the candle loving weirdo I am.

Spring Break - If there was one thing I hope they start to include for this it would be a description of the scents. Oh yeah, this totally smells like underage drinking and sex, that's spring break, right? Nope, it smells floral and fruity. What fruit and what flowers you ask? I don't know because it doesn't tell me and is a Melt Crowd Preview so isn't even bloody available on their website yet!

Ylang Yland & Bergamot Essential Oils: This is part of their new B.A.R.E. range and I had a bad experience with one of the other ones where it made me choke, but the other one smelt like Lush, so I was apprehensive about smelling this one. The best way I could describe it is if you go into a "crystal/herbal" shop where they sell like sage and things to heal your aura. It smells like that.

Spearmint: This will always be my favourite smell. Spearmint reminds me of spearmint chews and it is just such a nice scent. This is subtle and I can't wait to burn it. I also want to go and get some spearmint chews right about now (funk soul brother).

Bunny Kisses - This one is actually available on their website and it is their Easter scent. It is described as "juicy rhubarb and creamy caramel vanilla custard" which it definitely smells like. I love rhubarb but I find this one is quite overwhelmed by the vanilla and the rhubarb doesn't come through enough. Hopefully, it will come through more once it is burned.

French Lime Blossom - This must be a new one too. It's fruity and citrussy with the lime but also quite floral. I like it, but it's not my favourite.

Mango & Dragonfruit - What does dragonfruit smell like? It's nice and fruity though and the mango comes through quite strong.

Easter Egg - Pure chocolate. This just smells like pure chocolate and although that might be alright for some, it's sickly to me. This is definitely the designated Sam melt of the box.

Very Vanilla - This smells exactly like the Vanilla Cupcake wax melt from Yankee Candle which isn't something I normally like but after getting Christmas Cookie for Christmas, I've been obsessed with sweet vanilla scents. This one was strong & the only one I've burnt so far from the box. I cut it in half and put it in a burner upstairs and one downstairs and damn my house smelt sweet. Again, another sickly one!

Candy Floss - I don't know why this one was included in my box, but it was just chucked in there. It doesn't smell exactly like candyfloss, which is basically just sugar but it is sweet and sugary, so there you go. There isn't much to say about this one as it just doesn't have a strong smell at all. Perfect for those who like sweet smells, but don't like as sweet as Very Vanilla.

Overall, I'm really impressed with this box and I'm glad I stuck around with The Melt Crowd at least for another month. I also subscribed to Candle Belles subscription box and will be reviewing that next week. I think I might actually do a side by side comparison next month. I don't think it's very wise to keep buying two wax melt subscription boxes, well that's what the boyfriend says anyway but what does he know?

What would be your favourite scent? You can subscribe to The Melt Crowd for £10 a month.

February Favourites

I don't have many favourites this month because I've been on kind of a spending ban and so just wanting to use products up that I already have and that have been neglected. I haven't been adventurous this month as I hate February and I think it's a gloomy month. Bonus, though, I've been given a pay rise at work so I'll probably have plenty of hauls coming from pay day!

You'll probably notice that a few of these that I have on here have been in my blog posts recently. What I have bought, the few and far between, have become firm favourites and part of my everyday life.

I talked about the Nivea Post Shave Balm here and raved about how amazing it is as a primer. I'm still sticking to that and even after using it every day, it's still pretty full! I have found that completely slathering your face in it and letting it dry makes it a bit better than being stingy with it. Although, either way, it is an amazing primer! It's sensitive around the eyes and you'll probably find it on offer somewhere.

Again, I just posted about the LA Girl Pro Concealer the other day, but I'm so in love with it. I'd even go as far to say as I love it more than the Collection one, which has been a firm favourite over the last year or so. I have heard a few people say that this doesn't last long, but for only £2.99 a tube, it's not a big issue. Read my post to see my full review.

I've become super lazy with my skincare and would rather just use micellar water, a face wash and some form of oil for my face. This is 100% soap free and good for sensitive skin. It doesn't really foam and it really good at leaving my face squeaky clean and makeup free. It is sensitive around my eyes, which is great for someone who wears contacts although isn't the greatest at removing eye makeup.

I really like this and it's simple to use, excuse the pun. It's cheap & I've found over the last month or so that pairing it with argan oil has left my skin feeling great and clear.

Primark aren't exactly renowned for their amazing makeup, but it's cheap and their lipliners are worth checking out for £1. I've been wearing this one for the past month under different lipstick and while it isn't the most amazing quality it is good. I've found that heating it next to my radiator before I use it makes it apply a lot smoother. It lasts for ages too, so perfect for a night out!

Finally, I've been using my Urban Decay Gwen Stefani palette non-stop since Christmas! I haven't done a review on it because there are about a million out there at the moment, but I'm thinking I might do a "3 months on" sort of thing because I've got to grips with it and found out which ones I really love.

What I like about this palette is how versatile it is. It's easy to create a casual look for work, or a smokey eye for going out or a bright look to draw attention. I've been going between Bathwater and Pop for the lid and then Zone in the crease. I like Pop but I find it's the worse shade for the fallout. If you'd like me to do an in-depth review for this then I will, but I can definitely say that I'd recommend this and do a public apology to my other palettes that have been seriously neglected since I got this!

Lifestyle
One thing I've really been loving this month is Wattpad. If you've never heard of it, it's an online community where people post their books and you can read them for free. I used to use Wattpad a lot when I was younger but found as I got older some of the stories weren't exactly fitting my reading style. Lately, I've found some really good books and while most of them are aimed mainly at teenagers, they've been easy to read when I want to relax at work on my dinner break or at home and don't want anything complicated to read.

Omerta - Scarlett moves into her new apartment with the mentality that she will start fresh and rule her own life, but when she overhears a murder next door, her life takes a turn for the worst, and she finds herself on the Italian Mafia's radar.
This one is quite saucy but addictive to read. A common book topic on Wattpad is "mafia" and how they fall in love with an unexpected victim. This is probably the least cheesy of the ones I've read. It's ongoing currently, which is super annoying because you can't finish the book you're reading.

Storm & Silence - "It is your choice," he said, stepping so close to me that our lips were almost touching. "Either do what I say - or get another job."
My heart stood still as I gazed up into his deep, dark, dangerous eyes...

In a world where women's only role in life is to sit at home and look pretty, Lilly is determined to fight for her freedom. There's only one problem: a powerful man blocking her way.
I liked this one, although it ends on such a cliffhanger and the sequel is still ongoing. It's different than anything I've read before. The author, Robert Thier should seriously think about getting properly published because he is a great writer. Which is why the next one is another of his.
The Robber Knight - When you are fighting for the freedom of your people, falling in love with your enemy is not a great idea. Or is it? Ayla has to defend her castle and her people all on her own, with nobody to help her but a dark warrior she hates with all her heart.
I really like the characters in this one and it's so unique. All of these are set in old times which isn't something I usually read, but this one is addictive & there's currently three of the books so something you can definitely sink your teeth into!
That's it for my favourites this month, hopefully I'll have more to talk about next month!

iPhone Tripod for £3?!

I am often dubious when I see things on eBay a lot cheaper than what other sellers are selling said item at. Even though I'm often hesitant, I still end up buying it because I am a cheapskate who is always after a bargain.

Lately, I've been trying to up my blogger game (and failing) by buying more props and backgrounds and things that will make my blog photos just look better than they have been. So, after reading a few blog posts about bloggers saying what they use to photos on their iPhone, I decided to go and buy an iPhone tripod. I've been after a tripod for ages and just kept forgetting, so when I saw this one for £2.98 I couldn't help but buy it. Even if it was rubbish I was only losing £3, right?

So, when I first got it I wasn't blown away. It was £3 so yes it is cheaply made and not the best quality but it was £3 and it does exactly what I want it to. It stands up and holds my phone. I can adjust it to get different angles and it holds the weight of my iPhone 6S without toppling over. It takes a bit of getting used to to put the iPhone in as if you put it in at the wrong angle it ends up taking a million pictures at once. It's not that sturdy on soft surfaces, but that's to be expected.

It's an ideal size as it's quite dinky and so easy to just put on the shelf of my bedside table once I'm done with it. Overall, I'm super happy with it and it makes messing around with a tripod for your first time easy and cheap. No, it's not the best you're going to get on the market but if you're trying to blog on a budget then go for it! It's also adjustable so if I suddenly got rid of my iPhone for a Samsung, it would still fit into it. I've also found this one for £1.78 if you're after an even bigger bargain!

LA Girl Pro Concealer First Impression

There are many American beauty brands that are so hard to get a hold of in the UK and all of them I want to try. One of the products I've heard so much about is the LA Girl Pro Concealer which is an inexpensive, high coverage concealer that comes in a very wide range of colours. In America, it's around $5 which is very inexpensive when you convert that to pounds (around £3.70) and cheaper than the much raved about Collection Lasting Perfection concealer which has recently gone up to £4.15.

So, imagine my delight when I stumbled across this concealer for £2.99 on eBay. I know, I know, eBay isn't the most reliable when it comes to buying makeup from as it can often be counterfeit or an imitation. But, I don't think this one is. I thought I'd first try out a normal shade and see how I liked the formula and then maybe try out some of the corrector shades or get some darker shades for contouring.

I picked up the shade "Porcelain" as it's the lightest shade and also what I usually get as my foundation shade. My first impression of this was "damn this is light" and the perfect shade for very pale people who often find that concealers can be too orange and dark.

This is the perfect under eye concealer, in my opinion, it appears very light when first applied but once blended down it becomes a nice bright shade that makes me appear very awake when all I want to do is crawl back into bed and sleep.

The applicator is this brush type and you have to squeeze the tube to get the product into the brush. I will say that I'm not the biggest fan of this applicating style as I often find that I squeeze out too much and then there's not really much you can do once you've squeezed out too much except wipe it away and waste it.

I do like the brush as it's really flexible and soft against skin meaning that you can get into nooks and crannies but it won't irritate sensitive skin.

As you can see it does appear very light against my skin but blends out nicely. When it is first applied it does appear chalky and like it will crease and break throughout the day but I've not found this to be true. I apply it under my eyes and then bake it with powder. This concealer can last all day without creasing or appear chalky and cakey. It is a really good under eye concealer and paired with powder, it's amazing at creating a bright and long lasting look.

I have also tried this on blemishes and found it can be a bit chalky in that instance and if your skin is dry, this will not pair well with dry patches. I don't have dry patches under my eyes but putting this near dry patches on my skin made it appear slightly flaky and emphasises the dry spots.

I do love it as an under eye concealer and I will definitely be purchasing some darker shades for contouring and maybe the green corrector shade to help target redness on my nose. If you're looking for a reasonably priced under eye concealer I would highly recommend this and definitely, if you're wanting to experiment with cream contouring on a budget this would be a great option. Find it here for £2.99. Have you ever tried this concealer before?

PetShop.co.uk Goodies

When I saw an opportunity to collab with PetShop.co.uk over at The Blogger Programme I got very excited, mainly because I like to treat my animals and I also like to find new things to feed them. As someone who has worked in a pet shop, I love PetShop.co.uk as even when I had 20% discount at said pet shop, it was still the cheaper option for me to get my dogs food from. They have a great bottomless bowl programme where you can choose how often you get products delivered and it seriously takes a weight off your shoulders knowing that you'll always be getting your food on time for your animals.

I have two giant American bulldogs and they go through a lot of food and so get very grumpy if they run out, I get two 15kg bags of food delivered a month for them and it's such a good way to keep them getting the right food but at a great price. It's definitely cheap compared to most places and high-quality brands such as James Wellbeloved and Eukanuba is at a great discount compared to most stores in the UK.

PetShop.co.uk were kind enough to send my dogs and bunnies some treats. I like how they have products for all animals and I'm going to start getting my rabbit food with the bottomless bowl deal as again it's cheaper than the pet shop I worked at including if I had my 20% discount!

The first thing they sent me was a 2kg bag of Canagan dog food which is a very high quality brand of dog food that is ideal for dogs with sensitive skin and stomach as it has over 60% chicken in it compared to other brands that fill their food with wheat and other nasty stuff that isn't good for your dogs. It is also wheat-free and perfect for Freya, my girl doggy who has really sensitive skin and ears. They wolfed this food down and I can't believe how much they liked it! It is rather pricey, this small bag being £13.49 but ideal if you have a smaller dog who doesn't eat nearly as much as my dogs.

The next thing that Freya and Chester received was these Pet Munchies dog treats which are 100% natural chicken fillets and they absolutely loved these. I try and give them natural treats rather than fatty, additive filled treats from brands as these are just so rubbish for their skin and make them put on weight. Freya is already a fatty but giving her natural treats makes me feel a lot less guilty than if I was giving her rawhide or a treat that was full of additives and sugar. These are reasonably priced starting at £1.59.

The final thing the dogs got was the tin of Natures Menu dog food that is a duck with plum flavoured, making it feel extra fancy. I haven't actually given them this yet because I keep forgetting but they have had Natures Menu before and they love the frozen chunks that they do. I think getting tins like this is great to get them to eat their biscuits when they're feeling stubborn, which is a rare occurrence for my greedy dogs.

Again, this is full of good stuff and has no grain in it meaning it's ideal for sensitive skin. Nature's Menu is a great brand and really reasonably priced. These tins are around £2.20 each and they are really big meaning that this one tin can easily be split between my two 12 stone dogs. All the flavours of this range are very fancy such as venison with blueberries, salmon with raspberry and so on.

Bernard also got a little treat with this Burgess Excel rabbit herbage which is hay with little bits of herbs in it. Bernard is so stubborn when it comes to hay and would rather poop in his than eat it, but this he actually eats which is such a relief. If rabbits don't eat their hay their teeth can get very long and become painful and infected. I've had a bunny before who refused to eat his hay and had to have very expensive surgery to correct. If you have bunnies who don't like to eat their hay I would definitely recommend getting something like this! It aids their digestion and has herbs that are good for their immune system what they also love to eat. This is really well priced on their website at around £3.34 and I might add this to my bottomless bowl order.

My bunnies outside, Storm & Ivy also liked it but they refuse to let me get a picture of them because they are stubborn ladies who prefer to munch in private. Bernard, however, has no protests against it so have an extra Bernard picture in place of the ladies.

Overall I'm really happy with these goodies that I was gifted from PetShop.co.uk and it's made me love the online store even more. Everything is so reasonably priced and they offer great delivery times. Whenever I've ordered something it's always come within 1 or 2 working days which is great when you have demanding animals who want food.

There are choices on here for all types of animals with all different needs and if you have pets, I'd definitely recommend checking out this website and the selection they have! Do you have any pets? Have you used this website before?
